Messiahs follows filmmakers on their journey to examine the nature of faith, exploitation and fanaticism in modern Christianity. First they meet Jesse, a lovable loser who draws strength from his claims to track his family tree back to being a descendent of Jesus. Meanwhile, Jack a smarmy wanna-be actor, toils away as a Jesus impersonator to make ends meet before finding his big break. And Michael… Michael is a lost soul. Each are able to touch and impact the lives around them. But at what cost?
